Brooklyn is another one of my 2019 graduating seniors!
2019 Graduating Senior | Brooklyn. I have known Brooklyn for a long time. My senior year, I took a yearbook class and Brooklyn was also in that same class. We became friends back then, so when she asked me to take her senior pictures, I was so excited! I was always impressed with Brooklyn during her sessions, her outfits were adorable, her smile was so genuine, and most of the time I didn’t even have to tell her a pose. I’m pretty sure I told her multiple times if her college plans didn’t work out, she should become a model.
Her first session was in the winter. We started at Scioto Audubon Park in Columbus, Ohio.
The reason why I love this location is because of the skyline of Columbus. It is such a perfect view of the city and makes for the best background for pictures. We then went to Schiller Park and adventured around German Village. In these pictures it looks as if it was a beautiful day but in reality, it was freezing! Brooklyn’s mom was bundled up in her winter coat and sipping on her warm coffee. We had to take a few breaks to warm up in the car but no matter how cold it was Brooklyn was so ready for her pictures.
Her next session was her cap and gown pictures in downtown Marion.
She wanted a more rustic look for those pictures, so I found a couple alleyways that I thought would be perfect. We also did some in front of the court house with her University of Kentucky shirt. Her final session was at Inniswood Metro Garden, in the evening, right around sunset. She showed up in the cutest hat and I was so excited because it looked so good on her! These pictures from her final session are my favorite. She laughed more than she ever did, and you could just tell that she was so excited to be graduating! Her fun and energetic personality definitely shows more than ever in these spring pictures. I am so happy I was the one to capture these final moments of her senior year!
Brooklyn will be graduating from Pleasant High School and will be attending the University of Kentucky.
She will be majoring in political science. Brooklyn participated in bowling and the dance team throughout her high school years. Her favorite high school memory was being in the student section for the Friday night football games. Congrats Brooklyn! I am so proud of you and wish you the best of luck. “Start each day believing in your dreams. Know without a doubt that you were made for great things”.
