My year has been incredibly amazing and I’m so excited to share it with you all! I REALLY love my job because it’s so rewarding! I love capturing important moments in people’s lives! I’ve had so many new experiences this year and am so excited for many more!
In May, my best friend Lexi and I hosted a styled shoot. It was our first time hosting a styled shoot and it went sooo well! It was such a great experience for me! We worked with so many amazing vendors, models, and other photographers. It was so great to make those connections!
One of my photos from the styled shoot placed second at the Ohio state fair! I absolutely love entering in this each year and always look forward to it!
This year I did my first destination engagement session in Savannah, Georgia at Forsyth Park! I also did a couple session in Bluffton, South Carolina and a family session in Hilton Head! Both of these were amazing and would love to do it again! If you know me, you know I love to travel as well as take pictures. Well I love traveling with my camera the most!
I saw that Julie Paisley hosted a workshop! With following her on social media and loving her images, I absolutely had to go! It was at Julie Paisley’s cottage in Tennessee. I got to learn so much from her!
In September, I went to a Charleston styled shoot and it was BEAUTIFUL. It was the prettiest styled shoot I’ve ever been to. It was at Magnolia Plantations which is a stunning venue with lots of Spanish moss.
My third nephew, Bowen, was born in December! He is so precious. I love being Aunt Sierra soo much!
With all of the amazing weddings in 2019, I am looking forward to capturing all of my 2020 weddings! This year I was able to second shoot for some amazing photographers!
I graduated COLLEGE! It was probably the most exciting thing of this year. I worked so hard during school and I Graduated with my bachelors In digital photography with a minor in social media marketing! I also graduated with a 3.8 GPA because of my hard work!!! I am proud of myself for all of my accomplishments and for pushing myself through it!
This year the one big thing I’ve seen in my business is my self-confidence! I’m not only confident in myself but I’m confident in my work. It has taken a lot for me to get where I am. I finally love the pictures that I take and I’m so ready to capture so many more moments in 2020!
