Julie Paisley Cottage Workshop

I have really been wanting to blog more but sometimes life gets busy.

I always want to focus on my clients and getting their pictures sent to them quickly, so lately blogging has been put on hold. I am happy to say I’m back at it and am starting to catch up.

Back in August I had the most amazing opportunity.

I was able to attend Julie Paisley’s last ever cottage workshop. Julie Paisley is one of my biggest photographer idols and her work is stunning. Julie thrives on educating photographers and I could not pass up an opportunity to learn from her. My dad and I traveled to Nashville Tennessee so I could attend this workshop. Her cottage was so cute and full of personality. We started the day off by socializing and getting to know each other. She asked each of us to tell her one thing we struggled with in our business. For me, that would be confidence. I struggle being confident in my work and just my overall business. After I attended this workshop, I have never felt happier and more confident in my work. We shot two different models that were absolutely gorgeous.

This workshop definitely challenged me, but I am so thankful for that.

Julie helped me to see different angles and shots that truly make a bride love herself. That is one of my main goals as a photographer is for my clients to look at the pictures, I take of them and love themselves. It was so nice to get to know the other photographers and not only learn from Julie, but one another. Enough of me talking, scroll down to view these magical images!
