I couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off my 2025 wedding season than capturing Hannah and Andrew’s beautiful day at Magnolia Hill Farm, one of my favorite Ohio wedding venues. The day started with a few sprinkles and overcast skies, but as soon as Hannah and her bridesmaids stepped outside for photos, the sun broke through at just the right moment—pure magic!
A Spring Wedding Full of Color and Joy
From the vibrant spring wedding flowers to the bridesmaids’ dresses and Andrew’s sharp blue tux, every detail of their day was bursting with color. Their decor was fresh, fun, and full of personality—everything about their wedding felt like spring coming to life.
A Stress-Free Wedding Timeline = A Relaxed, Fun Day
One of the reasons this day flowed so smoothly is because Hannah and Andrew allowed me to help build their wedding photography timeline. We were actually 30 minutes to an hour ahead all day long! I always recommend that my couples meet with me about a month before the wedding so we can create a timeline together. I make sure to build in extra “buffer” time—not only does this help us stay ahead of schedule, but it gives everyone a chance to relax and be present. Not feeling rushed is key to enjoying your wedding day.
Sweet First Looks and Beautiful Ceremony Spaces
One of my favorite moments was Hannah’s emotional first look with her dad. These moments are so meaningful to capture—the quiet, the joy, the happy tears.
And the ceremony? The veranda room at Magnolia Hill Farm is truly something special. Because it was a little chilly, the indoor space was perfect—but with its huge windows and removable doors, it still felt open and full of natural light. It’s a beautiful blend of cozy and airy. A Dance Floor Full of Fun
Their reception was just as wonderful. The DJ kept the energy high, passed the mic around, and made sure guests were engaged and entertained. The dance floor was full of singing, laughing, and pure fun!
Hannah and Andrew’s day was the perfect mix of laid-back and joyful. They were surrounded by friends, family, and so much love—and it was such an honor to document it all.
