I got to spend a Saturday with an amazing couple! Shayla and Matthew got to marry each other after almost 7 years of being together! Details are one of my favorite things to capture at a wedding, and Shayla did not disappoint! She had so many beautiful details for me to capture. I just love this because the small details are a big part of their day and they only make your wedding better!
Before the ceremony I went to go check on the groom and found out his pants were ripped so bad he couldn’t wear them. Luckily 10 minutes before the ceremony, he got a new pair and had them hemmed. I told him, today is your day, and if you’re late for the ceremony, then people will wait. I’m sure these two will laugh about this for years to come.
It was raining the entire day, but that didn’t stop us from taking some beautiful portraits. Shayla was the most chill bride and really just went with the flow. After the ceremony, Shayla and Matthew took a drive around in their getaway car. They even found an empty shelter house that would work perfect for pictures! Even the rain didn’t stop these two from smiling and enjoying their day!
Both Matthew and Shayla are so genuine, and I loved spending their big day with them!
