Short Road Trip | Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

In March, Lexi and I drove to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania for a short road trip. We always enjoy adventuring around new cities and this time we picked Pittsburgh. Our hotel was in the middle of downtown Pittsburgh, which allowed us to see a lot of the city. As soon as we got there, we checked into our hotel and went to lunch at the Harris Grill. If you know Lexi and I, we both love mac & cheese, so it was perfect.

We then got our cameras and adventured around town.

We took a few headshots of each other because it is a tradition of ours and who doesn’t love updated headshots!? When we were adventuring around, we found this colorful mural and I absolutely loved it! The mural is named Yesterday’s Tomorrow and it is made up of lots of bright colors which made it fun to use as a backdrop.

The most exciting part of the trip was that we found a couple to model for us.

It was fun taking portraits of Heather and Jordan, while seeing new scenery. We took so many pictures of the two of them downtown. We walked to the yellow bridges and I absolutely loved the look of the city lights in the background.

That night Lexi and I went out to dinner and then treated ourselves to milkshakes from the milkshake factory.

I enjoyed a mint cookies and cream milkshake; it was the perfect way to end our night. We woke up early the next morning to head home and stopped at a diner in Belmont, Ohio called Schlepps. They had the best French toast I have ever had! I am always willing to visit new places with Lexi and I can’t wait for our next trip! I had so much fun on our quick trip to Pittsburgh.
