Highbanks Metro Park Engagement Session | Patience & Garrett

It was a beautiful day and the weather was perfect for Patience and Garrett’s Highbanks Metro Park Engagement Session. These two have been together for five years and their first date was at the Marion Fair.

We started at Highbanks Metro Park, which is where they got engaged on April 21, 2018. He proposed to her while they were on a walk, on a bridge at Highbanks. I asked them where they wanted to start and they said the swings, because that is something they enjoy doing together. We then moved on to a bridge, which made for a beautiful scene.

The second location was Ohio State University, where they both attended school. With both of them living on and attending OSU, they were familiar with the area. The buckeye trees have significance because along with being the mascot, buckeyes resemble the Ohio State University. We decided to take a few pictures in the William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library which consists of twelve floors. I posed them on the elegant staircase. With all the natural lighting it really shows the beauty of the library.

It was fun getting to adventure around Columbus with this couple. Here are some of the pictures from their engagement session.
